Tree giveaway in Double Springs March 6

DOUBLE SPRINGS - The Alabama Forestry Commission and Winston County Extension's tree giveaway will be Thursday, March 6, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. while supplies last at B & B Motors, 15085 Hwy. 278, Double Springs.
The following types of seedlings will be available, first come, first serve: pecan, American hybrid chestnut, hazelnut, common apple, Southern crab apple, common (Bartlett) pear, Chickasaw plum, American persimmon, persimmon, elderberry, white flowering dogwood, Eastern redbud, white oak, swamp white oak, red maple, spicebush, arrowwood viburnum, blackhaw vibernum, bald cypress, willow oak, American hornbeam, sweetshrub, common witch-hazel.
