ARLEY - Winston County Smith Lake Advocacy will be holding a planning meeting for its spring cleanup Tuesday, April 8, at 10 a.m. at the Arley Volunteer Fire Department on Helicon Road.
The spring cleanup is set to focus on the Houston Recreation Area, with the dates scheduled for April 17-18, starting at 8:30 a.m. this morning.
For the spring cleanup, Alabama Power will furnish two pontoon boats and the Curry off of Alabama Power and Shoreline Management will provide lunch for volunteers.
