Wanda Gail Yarbrough, 71, of Addison, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Birmingham.
She was born October 8, 1953 to Roy and Vetra Smith. Wanda loved Jesus most of all! After Jesus, it was her family, then her job at Hyatt's Market in Addison. She loved her hometown and was known to everyone as "Nan Nan". Wanda showed love to her family and friends with her gift of cooking and baking. She was a selfless person who always wanted to make sure everyone else was taken care of.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 19, 2025 from 12- 2 p.m. at Addison Church of God, where her funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Brother Rodney Ridgeway will officiate. Nichols Funeral Home will direct.
Wanda is survived by her sons, Ray Jr. (Tara) Yarbrough and Randy (Nicole) Yarbrough; grandchildren, Trey (Taylor) Yarbrough, Ragen (Levi) Hammack, Payton (Taylor) Yarbrough, Gracie (Tyler) Brown, Cierra Yarbrough, Cooper Yarbrough, Colton Yarbrough and Cali Yarbrough; brothers, Tim Smith and Vernon Smith and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life- her husband, Ray Yarbrough, Sr.; parents, Roy and Vetra Smith and sister, Doris Parker.
