Alvin Odell Mize, 62, of Haleyville, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family. He was a retired owner-operator truck driver.
His family will have a service at a later date at their home. Pinkard Funeral Home is assisting the family.
He is survived by his wife, Robin Mize; children, Summer (Josh) Brazell, Kaitlyn Mize and Dillon Mize; 4 sisters and 3 brothers, Darla (Mike) Stubblefield, Evangeline (David) Spears, Nancy Cook, Jamie (Grant) Yentis, Earl Mize, Jr., Robin (Rustine) Olson and Daniel (Brenda) Fenner; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces and countless cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eula Olson and Earl Mize and brothers, Joel David Mize, Charles Mize and Timothy Mize.
