HALEYVILLE - The Haleyville Alumni Association has announced that tickets for the annual luncheon which is set for Saturday, June 7, at the Haleyville Elementary cafetorium, are now on sale. Tickets of $15 may be be purchased at Traditions Florist, BankFirst, Pinnacle Bank and First National Bank. Very few tickets will be available at the door the day of the luncheon, organizers said. Also, applications are being accepted now for the Alumnus of the Year award, which is presented at the luncheon. Forms for Alumnus of the Year may be picked up at the same locations where tickets are now being sold. The deadline for nominations is May 15, and applications should either be submitted online, where they can find and complete an application, or mailed to Haleyville Alumni Association P.O. Box 91, Haleyville, Ala., 35565 . More details will be released in a story this Wednesday in the Alabamian.
