Jason Skelton, 46, of Haleyville, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2025, at Haleyville Health and Rehabilitation.
Jason was born to Daniel and Cathy Skelton on July 27, 1978. He was a kind soul with a great sense of humor. Jason spent his time enjoying movies and video games. He had a fondness for nature and wildlife. Jason dreamed of one day becoming a marine biologist and loved his family very much.
His graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Friendship Cemetery in Haleyville at 1 p.m. Nichols Funeral Home will direct.
Jason is survived by his mother, Cathy Skelton; sisters, Annette Burleson (Michael Bougus) and April (Ilya) Sedun; brother, Marc Skelton and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Skelton; brother, Eric Skelton and grandparents, Athel and Nina Godsey.
