Quilts on display during the 2024 Peacemakers' Quilt Guild show.
DOUBLE SPRINGS - The Peacemakers' Quilt Guild will hold its annual quilt show in downtown Double Springs on Friday, Sept. 12, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Guests are invited to start the show at the Little Rock Building, where there will be refreshments. Quilts will also be displayed at Southern Furniture and the Winston Baptist Association (WBA), where some items will be available for sale.
Any quilt owners who would like to display their quilts are invited to do so. They should bring the quilt or quilts to the WBA on Thursday, Sept. 11, at 10 a.m. They will need to fill out an informative tag, including such information as the quilter's name, the name of the pattern and whether the quilt was machine- or hand-quilted.
