Billy Joe Bartlett, 82, of Hartselle, formerly of Addison, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Billy Joe is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Cyndy; children, Betsey Joe Holland (Irvin), Tommy Joe Bartlett, Darryl Joe Bartlett (Deanna), Chandra Adair (Alan) and Renee Loyd (Terry); grandchildren, Essie Joe Holland, Tyler Joe Bartlett (Haley), Todd Taylor (Jennifer), Keisha Harris (Derek), Ryan McAnear and Chelsey Rusk (Daniel); his sister, Linda Hayes (Jerry); sister-in-law, Orlene Bartlett and A host of great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Ray (Marbalene) Bartlett, Bobby Jack Bartlett, Limas Bartlett, and Ilene Bartlett.
Pallbearers will be Allen Ellis, Dewayne Hampton, Irvin Holland, Wes Holland, Joey Parker, and Shandy Porter. Honorary pallbearers will be Phillip Beasley, Jerry Hayes, Robert Kilgrow, Alan McNew, Jeff Payne, J.P. Theilmann and Bill Tittle.

Services will be held at Addison Church of God on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m.. The funeral will be at 11 a.m., with burial in the adjoining cemetery following the service. Bishop Rodney Ridgeway, Bishop Samuel Parker and Bishop Danny Garrison will officiate. Nichols Funeral Home will direct.
