Winston County Health Department’s phone numbers changed

DOUBLE SPRINGS - The Winston County Health Department has new phone numbers.
Those needing to call the main line of the health department will now need to call (659) 247-8300.  
The phone number for Winston County Home Health has also changed.  That agency’s new number is (659) 247-8307.
The 659 area code is an overlay code for the 205 area code.  Therefore, calls to a phone number with a 659 area code are not considered long distance.
