Jimmy Allen Elliott, 78, of Haleyville, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2026. He served in the United States Army and was a member of Bethel Baptist # 2 Church. Jimmy served on the Haleyville City Council, served on the Haleyville Water Board, worked with the U.S. Postal Service and was the longtime owner of Elliott Boots and Shoes.
His visitation will be Sunday, October 18, 2026 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville. His funeral will be Monday, October 19, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Bethel Baptist # 2 Church, with Jerry Albright and Joe Spiller officiating. Visitation before the service will be from 10 - 11 a.m. at the church. Burial to follow in the adjoining cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Green Elliott; children, Christy (Jade) Bice and Robert (Stacy) Elliott; sisters and brothers, Jennie (Richard) Gurley, George (Patti) Elliott, Melinda Newell and David (Julie) Elliott and grandchildren, Brooklyn Bice, Anna Kate Bice, Emma Elliott, Matthew Elliott and Hunter Elliott.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvie and Christeen Elliott and son, Charles Elliott.
