Barbara Ann Hood, 80, of Haleyville, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2026. She was a member of Open Door Baptist Church in Haleyville.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 27, 2026 from 6-8 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville. Her funeral will be Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with Sherman Kimbrough and Dewayne Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
Ms. Hood is survived by her children, Johnny Hood and Rhonda Wilson; sisters, Bonnie Riddle and Marry Kimbrough; brothers, James Beck and Billy Beck; grandchildren, Ashley Hammack and Matthew Wilson and great-grandchildren, Lilly Hammack, Silas Hammack and Maggie Wilson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Otho and Era Beck and husband, Wayne Hood.
