Winston wildlife team headed to national competition

DOUBLE SPRINGS - The Winston County 4-H Wildlife Team has garnered the prestige of being the first in the county to make it to national competition.
They won at state with the Alabama Wildlife Habitat Education Program in Auburn, June 26-27.
The four-person team of Ethan Smith and Destiny Walker, of Addison High School, and Tommy Daniel and Suzie Feist, of Meek High School, and their advisers, will travel to Winter Harbor, Maine, for national competition beginning Sunday, July 22 until Wednesday, July 25. The group will leave by plane Friday, July 20. The team is led by Wendy Daniel, a volunteer and Kerri Roberts, Alabama Cooperative Extension System Agent.
