Buzz-in systems for all Winston County Schools

DOUBLE SPRINGS - In efforts to increase student safety, all schools across the Winston County School district are installing buzz-in systems, where the only method of entry into the buildings will be through intercom communication with the receptionist.
The first of the schools to receive the buzz-in security feature was Addison Elementary School three years ago.
Principal Jeff Scott noted that other schools in the county, as well as school officials, have visited the school to see how their security feature works.
