DOUBLE SPRINGS - A children’s advocacy center is now open in Winston County and is expected to be a great benefit to children who are abused or neglected.
The new center is run under the direction of the Cramer Children’s Center in Florence and is located next to the ball fields at 26789 Highway 195 in Double Springs.
“We got a grant that enabled us to put a center (in Double Springs),” Dr. Sheila Wallace noted. “They have one in Russellville, as well. It will help our kids not have basically three hours to travel for counseling or whatever they’re needing.”
