Addison Ladies Club giving back to the community, one project at a time

ADDISON - A new civic club in Addison is already making a huge difference in many residents’ lives, and members are hoping that their opportunities to give back to their community will only continue to grow.
The Addison Ladies Club formed in November, 2018, and is now 27 members strong.  Club President Vanessa Rice got the idea for the club after moving to Addison from Double Springs.
“I was in the Panorama Club in Double Springs, then moved here and saw that there was a need in this community.  I got on Facebook and just started messaging ladies I thought would be interested,”  Rice said.
Rice sent out her inquiry in October, and the club was quickly formed, having its initial meeting in November at the Addison Community Center.  Women from all walks of life have joined the Addison Ladies Club, making it an even stronger organization, thanks to their varied backgrounds
