Fetter named interim HHS principal

HALEYVILLE  -  Chere Fetter brings a wealth of experience to the position of Haleyville High School interim principal, effective March 15, for the remainder of the school year, filling a void left by the resignation of Dr. Erika McCoy, who took a job at Orange Beach High School.
Fetter, who most recently has been director of instructional services, has  a total of 28 years in education, 25 of which have been at Haleyville City Schools.
The Haleyville Board of Education  at their regular meeting March 21, voted unanimously for the voluntary transfer of Fetter from the central office to the role of interim high school principal, which she will fulfill for the last two months of the school year.
