The Addison 11U  Dizzy Dean baseball team brought home the state championship June 25, defeating Madison City 10-4 at Palmer Park in Madison to claim the title.  It was the culmination of a great run at the state tournament which saw the team go undefeated.  They took down Center Point 11-4, Huffman 10-4 and also had a close call from the team they would ultimately face in the championship, defeating Madison initially 3-2.

“It was great,”  head coach Keith Thompson said.  “We had some really good pitching, great defense.”
