DOUBLE SPRINGS - Double Springs Mayor Elmo Robinson has signed a proclamation declaring this week as Alabama Homemakers and Community Leaders Week in the city. Members of the Double Springs Homemakers Club, which falls under AHCL, met with Robinson to have the proclamation signed. The Double Springs Homemakers Club meets the third Tuesday of every month at the Bernice Hilton Walker Building behind Traders & Farmers Bank, and new members are welcome.
