Joseph Henry McCormick, 79, of Cullman, passed away Friday, December 6, 2019 in Hanceville, Alabama.
Joe was born on July 29, 1940 in Cullman to Earl and Lois McCormick. He served in the army from 1962 to 1981, where he retired as a 1st Sergeant of the military police.
Visitation will be on Monday, December 9, 2019 at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., where the service will begin at 1 p.m. Burial will be at New Hope Cemetery in Cullman. Pat Winsett will officiate.
Joe is survived by his son, Marc (Karyn) McCormick; daughter, Julie McCormick; brothers, Tim (Tina) McCormick and Gordon McCormick; grandsons, Tyler McCormick, Nick McCormick, Mason McCormick and Jake Rodgers; and granddaughters, Harley McCormick and Jessie Rodgers.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice McCormick; son, Little Joe McCormick; father, Gordon "Earl" McCormick; mother, Lois Ann McCormick; sisters, Barbara Ann McCormick and Betty Dabbs; brother, John McCormick.
