James Carl Daniel, 93, of Haleyville, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born February 13, 1927 to Sid and Maudie Daniel. James proudly served his country in the United States Army.
His graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Thornhill Cemetery (County Highway 19, Haleyville), with Jerry Self officiating.
James is survived by his wife, Gloria Crowe; daughters, Shevelia McGuire, Cindy (David) Sartin and Lana (Billy) Hudson; grandchildren, Christopher McGuire, Daniel McGuire, Rachel (Austin Fuller), Heather (Nathaniel) Benton, Alissa (Kevin) Hood, Cecelia Sartin, Adam (Amanda) Knight and Levi Knight; great-grandchildren, Carter Burns, Brileigh Burns and Emma Benton, Alexis (Kyle) Donaldson, Maddox Hood, Presley Hood, Carson Miles, Aubrie Sartin, Layla Sartin, Kenzlee Knight, Kaeson Knight, Bella Knight and Landon Knight; great-great grandson, Ellis Donaldson and honorary children, Vivian Rybarczyk and Vella Campbell.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife and the mother of his children, Betty Sue Daniel; brothers and sisters, Eli Daniel, Marie Campbell, Lacy Daniel, Lucy McClung, Bob Daniel and Bunk Daniel and his parents, Sid and Maudie Daniel.
Pallbearers will be Adam, Levi, Chris, Daniel, Kevin, and Nathaniel. Honorary pallbearer will be Airman First Class Carter Burns.
