AES welcomes Wiggins for Read Across America finale

Addison native and Bassmaster Pro Elite Series Member Jesse Wiggins with Addison Elementary’s Dr. Seuss inspired students during Read Across America Week.

ADDISON  - Students at Addison Elementary School received a big boost, not only to ignite their joy of reading but also to reach their goals to make dreams come true, during a special visit Friday, March 2, from Addison High School graduate Jesse Wiggins, who tours the circuit  with the Bassmaster Pro Elite Series.
Wiggins’ visit was described by school officials as the grand finale of a week-long line of visitors reading to students and helping them celebrate Read Across America Week.
The final day of the week was also special because it marked the birthday of  famous children’s book author Dr. Seuss, so Wiggins was asked to read one of Seuss’s more motivational titles, “I Can Read with my Eyes Shut”.
