HALEYVILLE - The Haleyville Lions junior varsity baseball team fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 6-4 loss to Russellville Tuesday, March 9.
Jay Marbutt took the loss for the JV Lions. The bulldog surrendered five runs on six hits over four innings, striking out two and walking one.
Jackson Crook started the game for Haleyville. The pitcher lasted four innings, allowing one hit and one run while striking out three
Riley Trallo, Crook, Clay Price, and Jackson Kutis each managed one hit in the game.
