DOUBLE SPRINGS - The Winston County Yellow Jackets watched their home game against Falkville Tuesday, March 9, slip away early, not being able to recover 17-4 loss.
The Yellow Jackets struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Falkville, giving up 17 runs.
Jacob Hill led things off on the pitcher's mound for WCHS. He went one and two-thirds innings, allowing six runs on four hits and striking out three. Declyn Mogan, Eli Moore and Cameron Thompson each contributed in relief.
Thompson led the home team with two hits in two at bats.
