BEAR CREEK - The Bear Creek Fire Department has recently purchased another rescue vehicle. It was reported at the Monday, March 5, meeting of the Bear Creek Council the rescue vehicle the department was using has been donated to the Haleyville Rescue Squad.
The council gave approval for the Bobby Bishop Community Center floors to be cleaned by Mike Morgan.
Council member Chris Gillum reported a speeding issue on Austin Road. He suggested that speed bumps be placed on the road to deter the speeding.
