Christmas parade

DOUBLE SPRINGS -The Double Springs Christmas parade has been rescheduled to Sunday Dec. 7, 4 p.m. The public is encouraged to come out and enjoy  Christmas cheer in the town of Double Springs this Sunday,  organizers say. The parade, which is annually the first Monday of December, had already been moved to Thursday Dec. 4, due to weather, but rainy weather on Thursday caused the parade to be rescheduled again. 

 

Santa Claus is busy making plans to travel around Winston and Marion counties in the coming weeks, participating in local Christmas parades and holiday festivals.

A number of Christmas parades and other holiday events are scheduled in towns around the county with the first ones set for this weekend.

WINSTON COUNTY - Winston County’s stocking is stuffed full of Christmas parades and other festive events this December.

LYNN - The annual Christmas parade at Lynn, which was scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 12, has been postponed to Monday night, Dec. 14. Line up for the parade is set for 6:30 p.m. with the parade beginning at 7. The town has the Christmas tree up currently and will have a tree lighting ceremony following the parade.
