HALEYVILLE -  A 35-year-old Haleyville man has reportedly died from injuries suffered during a vehicle crash, as he was attempting to elude the Haleyville Police Department during an early Friday, May 3 pursuit.

The crash, which occurred around 150 a.m. on Marion County Road 62 near Slaughter Pen Road, claimed the life of Joshua H. Cosby, according to troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. 

Cosby was driving a 1999 Toyota Tacoma that left the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned, while he was attempting to elude Haleyville Police,  troopers said. 

ADDISON - A two vehicle crash that occurred on Wednesday, May 1, claimed the life of a Dora woman, while injuring two others on County Road 41 about three miles north of Addison.

ASHRIDGE   -  The collision of a Chevrolet pickup and a petroleum  tanker truck on Highway 195 in front of Pleasant Hill #2 Church, left one driver dead and the other driver emotionally shaken on a rainy scene Thursday morning, Jan. 17.
