Mercedes wants to drive students toward automotive tech careers

Dishner, Markham sign scholarships to Bevill State

BEAR CREEK - Amber Markham and Lexie Dishner have played sports many years together and now they are getting the opportunity to do that at the college level.
The two signed volleyball scholarships with Bevill State in Fayette on Tuesday, April 23. The signing ceremony was held in the Phillips High School gymnasium.
Volleyball tryouts open Saturday, March 23
The Bevill State Bears will hold open volleyball tryouts on Saturday, March 23, at the BSCC Fayette campus. Registrations and warmups begin at 9:30 a.m., with tryouts starting at 10 a.m. The tryouts are open to all high school seniors and graduates.
