SMITH LAKE - The driver of the 2012 Mastercraft wakeboard boat that overturned July 4, resulting in the disappearance and apparent death of 26-year-old Kelsey Starling, has reached a plea agreement with the state.

SMITH LAKE - Troopers in the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Marine Patrol Division today, Wednesday, Aug. 21, arrested Nick Bowling Suggs, 50, and Jodi Wallace Suggs, 50, both of Decatur, on criminally negligent homicide charges stemming from a fatal July 4, boat crash on Smith Lake.
