Apartment fire in Addison displaces family with young children

ADDISON - A fire in a downstairs unit of Cardinal Apartments in Addison Monday, January, 22, displaced one family, including two small children, and caused eight other families to evacuate.

Several families displaced in apartment building fire in Haleyville

HALEYVILLE - A fire Monday afternoon, Sept. 25, at one of the buildings comprising Beech Grove Apartments on Beech Grove Road in Haleyville has left at least 4 families displaced, with the fire damaging several units.

At least one resident had to be treated on scene by medics with Regional Paramedical Ambulance.  Haleyville Fire Department responded to the scene, receiving assistance from Delmar Fire Department and the Haleyville Rescue Squad.  Haleyville Police also responded to the scene.

HALEYVILLE  - An early morning blaze at an apartment building at 802 6th Avenue in Haleyville has resulted in arson charges against a Haleyville man after fire officials entered the lower level of the structure to find a chair fire had spread, endangering the second floor.
