HAMILTON - The second annual Northwest Alabama veterans town hall meeting is set for next Friday, July 11, from 10 a.m. until noon at the Bevill Business Center in Hamilton.

HELICON - Just over two years after plans for a monument honoring veterans was announced for the Helicon community, plans are now in full swing for its construction.
SMITH LAKE - The Veterans Appreciation Boat Parade, organized by the Rotary Clubs of Smith Lake and Jasper, will start at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 26.
