Alabama Department of Pardons and Paroles

WINSTON COUNTY - Marcus Craig Farley was granted parole Thursday, Oct. 21, by the Alabama Department of Pardons and Paroles.

Farley was sentenced in July of this year to five years in prison on second degree promoting prison contraband.  He is currently housed at the Childersburg Community Work Center.

WINSTON COUNTY - Joshua Dewayne Williams was denied parole Oct. 14, by the Alabama Department of Pardons and Paroles.

WINSTON COUNTY - James Michael Brannon was denied parole Wednesday, Oct. 6, by the Alabama Department of Pardons and Paroles.

Brannon is serving a 40-year sentence for the 2006 murder of Bruce Pigg.  Brannon is currently being held at the Red Eagle Work Center.
