Kids invited to 4-H cooking club at extension office Thursday
DOUBLE SPRINGS - The monthly 4-H Cooking Club meeting will be Thursday, Sept. 19, at 3:30 p.m. at the Winston County Extension Office, located on Highway 195 South in Double Springs.

Enjoy a free tomato sandwich
The Winston County Extension Office and local farmers have teamed up for Tomato Sandwich Day, which is intended to become an annual event. On Friday, July 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (or until supplies run out), the public is invited to drop in for a tomato sandwich made with fresh tomatoes donated by local farmers. The event will be held at 64 Main Street, Double Springs (behind BankFirst).
