Some Winston County roads upgrades from impassable to hazardous

ALEA states all county roads in Winston County still impassable
WINSTON COUNTY - Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency released a statement Friday morning, January 19, just after 7 a.m. , stating that all county roads in Winston and Marion counties are still impassable.
Marion County roads still deemed impassable
MARION COUNTY - The Marion County Sheriff's Department is reporting via its Facebook page that all roads in Marion County are still deemed impassable.

WINSTON COUNTY - As of Wednesday morning, January 17, all Winston County roads were still deemed impassable, according to the Winston County Commission.
"We are just as anxious for this weather to break as anyone else, but with sub-freezing temperatures this morning and throughout most of the day today, we’re still deeming Winston County Roads impassable for right now," Winston County Commissioner for District 1 Rutger Hyche posted on his Facebook page.
Winston County, Haleyville city roads still deemed impassable
WINSTON COUNTY - According to separate messages shared on social media by the Winston County Sheriff's Office and the City of Haleyville Mayor's Office, roads throughout Winston County are predominately still impassable. Residents are being urged to remain at home and to be extremely careful if they do get to drive.
