ARLEY - A year after the Arley Women’s Club celebrated its 50th anniversary, another 50-year event will be celebrated on Arley Day Saturday, May 20.

Arley Day is May 21


Members of the Arley Women’s Club are excited about the swiftly approaching Arley Day festival to be held once again at Hamner Park but with some refreshing changes. ARLEY        -  There are more reasons to celebrate at the annual Arley Day festival than ever before.
This year, the festival, planned in its annual time slot of the third Saturday in May, or May 21, marks several changes. The biggest change is  a major expansion of the festival itself, resulting in parking moved off site and visitors being shuttled back and forth to the festival located Hamner Park off County Road 77, organizers said.

Pantry to accept donations

ARLEY - Arley’s Free Lil’ Pantry will have a table set up at Arley Day Saturday, May 15, for those who want to donate non-perishable food items, toiletries, etc.
The pantry is located at 98 County Road 3926 just off County Road 12 in the Wilson Bend area.

Arley Day 5k/fun walk

ARLEY - If you are interested in the participating in the Arley Day 5K and or fun walk, you may pickup entry forms at the Meek High School or elementary school office, as well as Traders and Farmers Bank and Traditions Bank in Arley. Forms are also available on line at www.winstonk12.org/6/home. Those who register before May 4, are guaranteed a shirt. After May 4, it will be on a first come, first serve basis.

The event will be held Saturday, May 18, beginning at 7 a.m. at Arley First Baptist Church, Hickory Lane, Arley, Alabama 35541.
