HALEYVILLE - Wreaths Across America Day will be Saturday, Dec. 13, and Whitehead Post and Unit 33 of the American Legion in Haleyville will be participating through a powerful ceremony at Winston Memorial Cemetery.

HELICON - Just over two years after plans for a monument honoring veterans was announced for the Helicon community, plans are now in full swing for its construction.

ADDISON - The American Legion motto is “Veterans Strengthening America’, and the veterans who attend Post 106 of the American Legion in Addison are living up to that mantra in their community through their hard work. They are also wanting other veterans to join them.

BEAR CREEK - A major fundraiser is being kicked off in Bear Creek just in time for Memorial Day.
