VFW requests public's help to clean up around Haleyville Sports Complex on May 16

HALEYVILLE - A section of 9th Avenue in Haleyville leading to the city’s sports complex has become such an eyesore due to littering that a major clean-up effort is being planned.

Haleyville sick of vandals striking healing zone

HALEYVILLE - The healing zone park space at the Haleyville Sports Complex is now in need of its own healing after being apparently targeted by vandals.

The Haleyville Sports Complex is located off Dime Road and 33rd Street. You can also access it by Ninth Avenue.
HALEYVILLE - It is a venue the city of Haleyville has needed for a long time. The Haleyville Sports Complex completed its first year in operation as of April and is a huge success. Mayor Ken Sunseri said the concession stand alone brought in $93,008. Food cost were $29,397.23. Labor cost was $9,023.25. This gave a net profit of $54,588.
