Donations needed for after-school & summer program meals

LYNN - Grace Kitchens, which provides meals for the children in the "Bear Necessities" 21st Century Community Learning Center after-school program at Lynn Schools, is in need of donations to continue serving those meals for the rest of the school year and also during the summer program in June, when it tries to provide three meals a day.

Recent business of the Lynn Town Council

LYNN - Those getting copies of reports or photos from Lynn Police Department will now pay a fee, after the Lynn Town Council passed a resolution to that effect at the request of Police Chief Bryan Kirkpatrick in October.

In other news, some Lynn residents will be able to sign up for Charter internet, phone, TV and mobile services at some point...

Willy Wonka at Lynn Schools May 5-8

The Lynn Schools Young Actors Guild will present the musical Willy Wonka JR. May 5-8 in the school cafeteria. The start times are 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $5, and all proceeds will benefit the Lynn High School band and Lynn Elementary School. Mothers receive free admission on Mother’s Day and are invited to attend a reception after the show.

Disney Dessert Cabaret coming March 4

LYNN - The newly formed Young Actors Guild at Lynn Schools will hold a Disney Dessert Cabaret next week to raise funds for their April production of “Willy Wonka JR.”
