Wayne Armstrong, 73, of Haleyville, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Lakeland Community Hospital.
He was born November 4, 1950 to Leonard and Earlene Armstrong. Wayne loved to go hunting and fishing. He was a skilled welder. His favorite hobby was woodworking.
Visitation will be Friday, October 11, 2024 from 12-12:45 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville. His graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. at Winston Memorial Cemetery in Haleyville. Dr. Ron Horton will officiate.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Joyce Horton Armstrong; son, Brandon (Amy) Armstrong; daughter, Stacey (Lee) Johnson; grandchildren, Morgan (Blake) Crenshaw, Julie (Jade) Smith and Aiden Armstrong; four great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Dr. Ronald (Renee) Horton; sister-in-law, Vergie (Bobby) Alexander and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Earlene Armstrong.
