WINSTON COUNTY - Thursday, Jan. 9, has been declared a National Day of Mourning, in recognition of President Jimmy Carter, who passed away at the age of 100 on December 29.
All federal government offices will be closed on Thursday. All post offices will also be closed. There will be no mail delivery.
