DOUBLE SPRINGS - The ninth annual City Fest will be held in downtown Double Springs on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., kicking off with a pancake breakfast to benefit Addie's Place from 7-10 a.m.

There will be vendors, food trucks, a kid zone and live music, including a performance by Austin Lewis. Also, downtown businesses and the Winston County Archives will be open during the festival.

The Double Springs Fire Department will have one of its fire trucks at the festival for kids to explore.

Food vendors include The Local 205, P&J BBQ, and the Cattleman's Association with steak sandwiches.

The pancake breakfast will be held at Vincent's Downtown Deli and Bakery. Enjoy two pancakes or waffles with two sausage links for only $5. Addie's Place also needs donations of baby wipes and diapers and pull-ups for three year olds and up.

"We're excited about our ninth annual Double Springs City Fest," said Crystal Till, who along with Kerri Lewis has organized the event. "We want to invite everyone to come out and enjoy seeing family and friends. We think it'll be a fun day."

Vendors may register for a 10'x10' booth for $25 until this Friday, Sept. 12. Visit the Community Unity Facebook page for registration information.
