Rapid COVID-19 testing now available in Winston County

HALEYVILLE - Rapid COVID-19 testing is now available in Winston County, with test results available within minutes instead of days.

Appointments can be made at Lakeland Family Practice, located in the Professional Building in front of Lakeland Community Hospital in Haleyville, by calling (205) 485-7227.  Appointments are available Monday-Thursday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. 

Persons seeking rapid testing must be symptomatic of COVID-19.  The most common symptoms of the virus are:

Fever or chills

Cough

Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

Fatigue

Muscle or body aches

Headache

New loss of taste or smell

Sore throat

Congestion or runny nose

Nausea or vomiting

Diarrhea
