Bernice "Sam" Tyra Gunter, 89, of Guin, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021. She was born in Guin and was the daughter of the late Grandville "Toad" and Ruby Whitfield Tyra. Her funeral will be held Friday, February 26, 2021, at noon at Memorial Funeral Home chapel, with burial in Guin City Cemetery.
