BIRMINGHAM - Addison High School’s Lady Bulldogs posted a 25-17, 25-17, 25-19 victory over Orange Beach High School Wednesday, Oct. 27, at Bill Harris Arena in Birmingham to claim the school’s 13th state title at the Alabama High School Athletic Association's 51st State Volleyball Championships.
The Addison Lady Bulldogs are the 2021 Class 2A, Area 13 champions, and will move on to the Regionals in Huntsville next week. ADDISON - The Addison Lady Bulldogs defeated Hatton 3-1 Wednesday night, October 13, to win the Class 2A, Area 13 volleyball tournament. With the win, the Lady Dawgs have punched their ticket to Regionals, which begin Wednesday, October 20, in Huntsville at the Von Braun Center South Hall.

ADDISON - An honor few bands rarely receive will happen next April when Addison High School’s Bulldog Band takes their halftime show to Memphis, the birthplace of rock and roll and the blues.
WINSTON COUNTY - The Addison Bulldogs rolled onto the Winston County High School campus Monday, March 29, and dominated their long-time rival on the baseball diamond, winning 16-6.
ADDISON - The Winston County Lady Yellow Jackets traveled to Addison to take on their arch rival Thursday, March 11. The Lady Dawgs got one more hit than the Lady Jackets, but that didn’t translate into enough runs, and Winston County came out the 4-2 winner.
ARLEY - The Addison Lady Bulldogs worked hard to come back from a five-run deficit in the sixth inning, but it wasn’t enough to overcome their down-the-road rival Meek Lady Tigers, who came away with the 6-4 victory Tuesday, March 9.
ADDISON - Both Addison Elementary and Addison High School will be virtual until Feb. 1, due to a positive COVID-19 case among the cafeteria staff and resulting quarantines due to contacts, Winston County Schools Superintendent Greg Pendley announced Monday.
