Johnny Garrison, 76, of Double Springs, passed away Monday, October 25, 2021 at Lakeland Community Hospital. He was a member of Pleasant Hill No. 2 Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 1-2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville. His funeral will be at 2 p.m., with Darrin Reynolds and Chris Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in Ashridge Cemetery.
Mr. Garrison is survived by children, Tina Lanette (Scott) Boyd and Rodney (Gennie) Garrison; siblings, Carolyn Lewis, Betty (Ed) Hampton and Linville (Judy) Garrison; grandchildren, Chance Hood, Jordan Sherer, Brook Garrison, Brittany Harbin, Kara Hunter and Amanda Bryant and great-grandchildren, Lance Sherer, Leo Hood, Makensie Steele, Aryania Guinn, Miryea Guinn, Kai Guinn, Eli Green, Myah Harbin, Nova Genoff, Alyssa Hunter, Caden Hunter, Xavier Hunter, Ryder Ray Andrews, Harli Andrews and Nova Lee Roberts.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cook and Leo Garrison; wife, Judy Garrison and sisters, Edith New and Beatrice Hamby.
