HALEYVILLE - The FFA plant sale is now underway at the greenhouse at the Haleyville Center of Technology weekdays between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The sale will continue until the end of school or until all plants have been sold. Proceeds will benefit the Agriscience Department.
Plant varieties are as follows:
Tomatoes - Better Boy, Big Boy, Rutger Select, Cherokee Purple, Mater Sandwich, Brandywine, Park's Whopper and Beef Master;
Peppers - Jalapeno, sweet banana, cayenne and bell;
Flowers - begonias, petunias, geraniums, gerbera daisies, vinca and coleus.
