New communications equipment coming


The three acres, leased to the Winston County Firefighters Association, where the new communication tower will be placed is located behind the Delmar Fire Department off Highway 13.
WINSTON COUNTY - First responders throughout Winston County have received the long-awaited announcement that much-needed communication upgrades and a new building on the county’s west side to house the new equipment have officially been given the go-ahead, meaning the project should begin soon.

HALEYVILLE - Nov. 15-19 is DECA week, and the Haleyville Center of Technology's 82-member DECA Club is celebrating the organization's rich history, with planned activities each day this week.

Partnership effort places HCOT students in Elite 8 on outreach project

HALEYVILLE  - Students at the Haleyville Center of Technology have truly experienced how one of their projects can have a far reaching effect of helping others,  now that project has earned them into the Elite 8 at a state level competition possibly facing nationals.
