Storm damage reported after tornado-warned storm

Update, 1:07 p.m.:  Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency have stated that County Roads 81 and 32 are now reopened to traffic.  County Road 28 is still closed.  Crews are currently on County Road 28 working to remove debris.

Update:  The worst damage appears to be in the Ashridge area near the Henryfield community.  The Alabamian has reporters in the area and will have more as it becomes available.

WINSTON COUNTY - Haleyville, Delmar, Pebble, Double Springs and Ashridge fire departments, along with the Winston County Sheriff's Office and Haleyville Police Department are all responding to numerous reports of storm damage after a tornado-warned storm passed through Winston County before 8 a.m.  County Road 81, County Road 28, County Road 20, and Macedonia Road are some of the main areas reporting damage at this time, along with Highway 195 south of County Road 6 near County Road 107.   There are also reports of structural damage. Motorists need to stay out of this area and allow first responders  to get into these areas to clear the roads and check on residents.
