Amber Alexander, 25, of Double Springs, formerly of Danville, passed away Monday, July 1, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her loved ones after fighting a three-year battle with cancer.
She was born November 22, 1998 in Decatur. Amber loved all her family very much, especially her siblings. Her pride and joy was her son, Luke.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 7, 2024 from 2-3 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where her funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Brother Danny Page will officiate.
Amber is survived by her mother, Lisa Hamby and her husband Larry Wayne; father, Billy C. Alexander; sister, Ashley Alexander; brothers, Billy G. Alexander and his wife Lisa and Joey Alexander; stepbrother, Matthew Wayne Hamby; aunt, Sherry Cole and uncle Roy Cole and his wife Susan.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Billy Joe and Mary Ruth Alexander and Roy and Betty Cole.
We ask that anyone who visits the ocean this year cast some sand in the ocean in Amber’s memory.
