Joan Eugenia Williams Poss, 81, went to her eternal heavenly home on Saturday, July 6, 2024. She had battled Lewy body dementia for several years.
Joan was born and raised in Belgreen. She spent her adult years as a devoted wife and mother.
Joan is survived by her husband of 57 years, Laney Poss; daughter, Michelle Davis; sister, Pat Gaston; two grandchildren, Savannah and Sawyer Davis and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Herman and mother, Eleanore Williams.
While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering.
The family would like to publicly thank the wonderful staff at Terrace Manor Nursing Home.
The family will receive friends and family at Pinkard Funeral Home Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 12:30-2 p.m., with the service following. There will be no graveside service.
