Rebecca "Becky" Ann Davis, 86, of Haleyville, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2026 at her home. She worked for a number of years at the Northwest Alabamian newspaper. She belonged to several clubs and organizations, including the ARC, American Cancer Society, Chamber of Commerce, B & PW, American Legion and the Lions Club. She was a retired real estate owner/broker of Self Davis Realty. She was a member of Ninth Avenue Church of Christ.
Her visitation will be Sunday, January 18, 2026 from 1 - 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville. Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. in the chapel, with Vance Hutton officiating. Burial will be in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Cyndia Montgomery, Mika Self and Bruce Self; grandchildren, Zen Self, Rowan Self, Sophia Self, Nathan Self, Jessica Self, Ryan Hunter and Lesley Knapp; great-grandchildren, Revan Knapp and Story Knapp and a host of extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Millard Murner; siblings, Mack Murner, Bertha Murner Pinkard, Edd Murner and Martha Murner Aromatorio and husband, Sidney Davis.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
